Cops release pics of suspect in Brooklyn subway stabbing

Cops on Monday released surveillance photos of the deranged man who allegedly stabbed a Brooklyn straphanger in the face over the weekend after telling him, “you’re going to die today.”

The unidentified suspect is being sought in the Saturday attack at the Kosciuszko Street station in Brunswick around 8:30 a.m.

The attack happened on a J train, when the 30-year-old victim was approached by a knife-wielding stranger, police said.

“Why are you following me?” the suspect asked the victim. “You’re going to die today.”

The victim, whose name is being withheld by The Post, told a reporter Sunday that, “I don’t know anything about this guy.”

“My mistake was that I turned by back on him and he basically jacked me in the face wth a knife,” he said.

The knife went through his cheek and into his mouth — requiring three stitches.

“I did punch the knife out of his hand,” the victim said. “Then he was threatening my life saying, ‘You’re going to die here on this train today.’”

The victim and the train motorman were able to fight off the attacker, who fled.

The NYPD now wants help to track down the suspect, and are asking anyone who can identify him to contact @NYPDTips or 800-577-TIPS.

“I just want him to be in jail for a long time,” the victim said Monday.
