How Old Are Daniel Goddard's Kids? See Young & Restless Star's Son Now

Young & Restless vet Daniel Goddard and wife Rachael seemed as surprised as we were to learn that their elder son, Ford, had reached a major milestone on February 6. “Eighteen years old today!” they marveled on Instagram. “Words will never be worthy of expressing the deepest of love, respect and profound gratitude we feel for you. Every wonderful thing is wished for you on this day and all the days of your life. We love you, Ford!”

In response, Goddard’s former castmate Lauralee Bell (Christine) summed up our sentiment perfectly: “Wow… 18.”

It seemed like only yesterday that Ford and younger brother Sebastian, who turns 15 in December, were taking festive family photos for the holidays with their parents. See below to see if you can stand the cuteness!

Now Ford, who is even taller than Dad, is the actor’s spitting image, especially in his days playing Beastmaster from 1999-2002. You remember the show, right? Of course you do. It was a syndicated series based on the 1982 movie of the same name that had, in turn, been based on the Andre Norton novel that broke Beast Master into two words.

Kinda like Xena, Warrior Princess, but with less Xena and more jungle animals.

Goddard, who got his soap start Down Under on Home Away, played Young & Restless kissing bandit Cane Ashby from 2007-19. (Seriously, his lips had such a mind of their own that he made Soaps.com’s list of daytime’s most notorious playboys; see where he ranked here.)

Goddard and his better half have been wed since 2002. Eighteen years after they tied the knot, the Aussie import at last became an American citizen.
